ABOUT

locus (n.)
place, from Latin
Since 2010, Locus Design + Consulting has had a simple goal: to help build better communities through architecture. We believe that well-designed places have the power to inspire and transform lives, and that architects have a responsibility to make good design accessible to all.
Founder Lorraine Kodumal Cunanan has over twenty years of experience in all phases of design, from programming through construction administration. A graduate of Duke University and the University of Virginia School of Architecture, Lorraine's previous experience includes tenure at nationally and internationally recognized firms, including KieranTimberlake Associates in Philadelphia and The Epsten Group in Atlanta.
Lorraine is a Registered Architect in the state of Georgia and is a Certified Construction Specifier. She is actively involved in the local community, and has served on the Board of Directors for Newnan-Coweta Habitat for Humanity, the Coweta Community Foundation, the Finance Advisory Council at St. Mary Magdalene Church, and as a volunteer caseworker for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
